I've been obsessed with music since I was a teenager—not the kind everyone listens to, but the strange, overlooked, misunderstood kind. I found joy in recognizing value in things before the world caught on. I was drawn to what lived in the shadows, outside the spotlight.
I wanted to be a musician. I never even applied for a “real” job. But life happened, and I found myself building an unexpected career in tech. Somehow, I ended up working globally, picking up English along the way.
Now in my 40s, I realize life is short. I asked myself: what dreams did I leave behind?
This bar is one of them.
Leave Me Alone isn’t a feel-good record bar. It’s not warm and cozy. It’s not for everyone. It’s a tribute to noise music—raw, weird, and unpolished. I built this for people like me. People who never quite fit in, who love the music that others skip.
The bar is tiny. Service isn’t perfect. But if you get it, you’ll get it.
And if you don’t—maybe you’re not supposed to.
For those who get it.
